Lara is a Registered Psychologist deeply committed to fostering therapeutic connections grounded in empathy, authenticity, and trust. She brings creativity, humour, and kindness into her work, ensuring a collaborative experience that aligns with each individual’s unique needs.

Lara works with adolescents and adults of all ages, integrating various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma-informed Therapy, Schema Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Attachment Theory, to address a wide range of presenting issues. Her main interest areas include anxiety, depression, issues of identity and self-esteem, personality difficulties, attachment and relationship dynamics, grief and loss, spiritual/religious conflict, childhood trauma, and adjustment and transition difficulties, in addition to more.

Lara approaches each individual with sensitivity and a commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment for exploration and growth. She strongly advocates for the value of long-term counselling and the transformative power of the therapeutic relationship, offering a consistent and reliable space for individuals to check in as needed.

Beyond her work in psychology, Lara finds joy in cooking and baking, walking in nature, practicing yoga, and spending time with her partner, family and friends.
