Melissa has worked across hospital, community, and private practice settings, including Monash Children’s Hospital, the Swinburne Wellbeing Clinic for Older Adults, and general psychology clinics. She brings two years of professional psychological experience, with prior work in crisis intervention, volunteer disaster recovery roles and a previous life as a broadcaster.
Melissa supports individuals across the lifespan and has particular interest in anxiety, trauma, grief, identity exploration, life transitions, and interpersonal difficulties from a systemic, psychodynamic perspective. She also works with couples and families.
Melissa offers a warm, reflective space that encourages curiosity, emotional insight, and sustainable change using the following therapeutic approaches:

Melissa sees adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families both in person and via telehealth. She welcomes diversity and works affirmatively with LGBTQIA+ clients.
Outside of work, Melissa loves spending time with family and friends, is a nature lover, a Dutch bike enthusiast and a former radio presenter with a love for storytelling, community, and humour.
