Raji Jayamohan
Clinical Psychologist
Raji is a Clinical Psychologist with a Master of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology as well as a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology. She has close to 10 years of experience working as a psychologist in a range of diverse clinical settings, including the provision of psychology support to individuals and groups as in-patients and out-patients in hospital and rehabilitation centres (alcohol and drug), community mental health services, correctional centres, and an ADF veteran counselling centre.
With a warm and compassionate manner, Raji fosters a positive and safe therapeutic space for clients to navigate challenging situations. She ensures treatment goals are aligned with each client’s unique needs and circumstances by drawing from various evidence-based treatment frameworks. These include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy (ST), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT).
Raji has experience in the provision of psychology support across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of concerns such as depression, anxiety, attachment issues, unresolved trauma, substance abuse and neurodevelopmental disorders. Raji speaks English, Hindi, and Tamil at native-level proficiency and welcomes linguistically/culturally diverse clients.
In her spare time, Raji enjoys long walks, swimming, tuning in to podcasts, and spending time with family and friends.
Raji is passionate about promoting mental wellbeing and providing her clients with the tools to become the best version of themselves.
