Narissa Miller

Registered Psychologist

Narissa is a General Psychologist who is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australia Association of Psychologists (AAPI). She has completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honors) and a Masters of Professional Psychology.

Narissa is a compassionate psychologist with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in both education (mainstream and special assistance schools), and private practice settings. Narissa has a genuine curiosity about people and in her therapeutic approach aims to create a non-judgmental, safe and nurturing space, to support clients to overcome their challenges to work towards healing and growth. Her therapeutic approach is client-centered, and tailors’ evidence-based interventions to meet the individual needs of client in a creative way.

Narissa has experience delivering evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and Eye Movement Reprocessing and Desensitisation (EMDR) for a range of presenting issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, social difficulties, emotion regulation, learning difficulties, and trauma. Narissa is experienced in working with neurodiverse clients and has a clinical interest in working in the emerging field of Medicine Assisted Therapy (MAT) for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and treatment resistant depression (TRD).
